Well, we were a little drained by the experience, having to sit through very slow Taiwanese pop music medleys and most of the show in Chinese. We took the opportunity to document our presence. I am particularly proud of my hair, which, though it looks quite plain, was curled to perfection at the back, in the ponytail. Next day I took a pic - and the curls were still there!
I've had my hair curled with a blowdrier at a salon, and despite assurances it would last a few days, it had gotten plank-straight by the time I stepped into the hotel at the event I had it done for. Yeesh. Home techniques that work, really do work. So I do it myself now. It only comes out when I next wash it.
